Welcome to Menopause Companion

Built for people navigating perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause, Menopause Companion gives you a clear picture of your symptoms, sleep, mood, and cycle — day by day. The more you log, the clearer your patterns become, and the better your doctor appointments get.

How it works

Log Event
Tap an event type — hot flash, mood shift, brain fog, and more — add details, and log it. Use the date picker to log past events too.
Evening Check-in
A quick nightly summary: sleep quality, mood, energy, brain fog, and anxiety. The orange dot on the tab is a reminder it hasn’t been done yet.
Journal
All your events and check-ins in one place, grouped by day. Tap “Edit day” to go back and log something you missed. Use the date filter to find any period.
Report
Generate a GP-ready summary of your symptoms, sleep, and patterns — with suggested questions for your appointment. Print it or download the JSON.

Your data & privacy

Where is my data stored?
Only on your device, in your browser’s local storage. Nothing is sent anywhere. Ever.
Moving to a new device?
Go to Settings → Data, export a backup, then import it on your new device. Nothing gets left behind.
My data disappeared.
This usually happens in Private or Incognito mode, or when browser storage was cleared. Restore from a backup if you have one — back up regularly from Settings.
Can I share this with my doctor?
Yes — use the Report tab to generate a printable summary formatted for a GP or specialist appointment.

Common questions

What’s the orange dot on Check-in?
A gentle reminder that today’s check-in hasn’t been saved yet. It disappears once you’ve completed the evening entry.
Can I log events from earlier today or yesterday?
Yes — tap the date button at the top of Log Event to change the date. The time field stays flexible so you can log accurately after the fact.
Why does the Journal show “Edit day”?
This takes you to Log Event with that date pre-selected, so you can add events you forgot to log at the time.
